So this weekend didn’t really prove well for anyone, did it? Damn Gina. Pizza and Chick-Fil-A all up in his MFer. Oh well. As mentioned, we are back on the charge towards becoming svelte hotties and I have to say I have been doing pretty well. Yesterday, I began to tell you of my day….I did end up working out twice, which felt great until about 9 pm when I crashed out from exhaustion. I made some baked pork chops with some brown rice and green beans for dinner, so that was good. the SM even liked it, which was amazing. the afternoon work out consisted of about an hour and a half with new friend Cara, walking the treadmill for 30 minutes, doing the elliptical for 20 and focusing on upper body for the remainder (bis, tris, some shoulders and rowing). Needless to say, I was tired.com by the time I got home, but it was a good tired.
Today so far, I have had a cup of coffee (with half and half and Splenda), some strawberries, a small muffin, and some mixed nuts. For lunch, I have the left over pork chop and rice…and a snack of popcorn if I so desire. I’ve been trying to keep busy with work so I haven’t thought about eating too much, which is pretty spectacular for me. Besides, I’ve been chugging water like I’ve been in the desert for two weeks (about 9 glasses so far) so that’s been keeping me superficially full.
Another thing that has been keeping me busy this morning is this Weight Loss Tracker on Prevention.com that let’s you make a current self, then a goal self (sorry lads, this is for lasses only). After you make your new self (see my sexy e-body up top), you can use their Health Tracker to set goals, record your daily intake and workouts, and get on the road to a healthier you. It’s free of charge and is incredibly user-friendly. It reminds me a lot of the online program Weight Watchers offers, except it’s free, it doesn’t have the points system…but it has a lot more reporting functionality, which is nice.
Not sure what dinner will bring, but its lunch time which means its time to hit the gym for a good 45 minutes of condensed, time-efficient working out. After work, as JP mentioned, I’m hoping to get a small crew together for some Funky Fit as well. Riding the wagon feels good…trying to not fall off!
