
So this weekend was full of debauchery and silliness; drinking and pizza. I hate to say it, but I decided that seriously, this would be my finally binge and Monday I’d be right back on the train. The SM and I headed down to Clemson, SC to visit some girlfriends of mine from college and we knew the option to diet wasn’t really going to be in the works, so we went for it.
Saturday, we had pizza, and more beers than I’d really like to share. A random Pizza Hut guy pulled up into our friends’ yard and was selling what he had left. I took that as a sign from God and bought one. I hadn’t had real pizza in so long, it was worth every penny. I didn’t get extra plowed though on the ol’ cerveza, so I felt all right about the evening. The next morning, we woke up and hit the Waffle House for breakfast…enjoying the last bites of my freedom. Bacon, waffle, egg, toast, coffee…it was delicious to say the least and a great way to go out.
Once we got the dog and got home, I hit the gym for about 45 minutes to an hour and went to the grocery to pick up some salad fixins and SmartOnes for the week. For dinner, I made some fantastic chicken stir fry with loads of veggies and some long grain, brown rice.
Today I made myself a little fruit shake, a lemon poppyseed muffin, an apple with peanut butter, a handful of mixed nuts and this salad I am trying to nibble away at to keep me from going to the vending (lettuce, carrots, tomato, mushrooms, and chick peas). My problem is that I need to pack sweet and savory things. right now I’m craving something sweet but I don’t think a 3 Musketeers would be the answer. I wonder if I can find some fruit?
No weigh-in today. Sorry. After the weekend, I don’t know that I want to see what all I gained back. Guaranteed, knowing my body, I am back around 145 again despite losing those 5 or so last week. Oh well. Its back on. Like donkey kong. In a thong. Singing a song.
